(2:45) I did this when I was aged 15 (1995) to my mate’s machine. He bought a TV tuner for his monitor. Basically, it had no earth cable, so I made my own up. I never thoguht to do this on my own equipment today – I shall do it for my amplifier!

There are Earth leaks on my video equipment too, so I will repeat the process!!!

Oops! Looks like Fritz forgot to turn the EMF tester BACK ON when checking the re-connected power cord at 2:30.
Copper union is a good tweak, really works!

What in addition also works quite well is covering the UNUSED powersockets with 8 times folded aluminium foil. Attach it with adhesive tape.

Ik bedoel de ongebruikte stopcontacten afschermen met alu folie, heb je dat al geprobeerd?. De stekkers met alu folie afschermen werkt inderdaad ook.

oh and to get my ground I just used the chassis ground to my Desktop (running linux with a ASUS XONAR D2X sound card) and screwed it directly to the rear of its power supply.

I thought since copper was conductive it would make the power field worse,,,lol
