I am looking for a 100w guitar amp combo that can be saturated at a low volume. I am currently looking at a hybrid Vox vt100. It has one preamp tube and the rest is solid state. Will this amp have a very good tube sound? or will it sound real solid state. Bottom line, what qualities do hybrid amps have over solid states?
