If you’re not running it through a PA system, you should probably get a keyboard amp to get the full range of sounds. The speakers in regular guitar amps will blow if you hit that kick drum at high enough levels. Bass guitar amps won’t give you the crystal clear highs that you require for cymbals.

Good keyboard amps for cheap? Try Peavey or Roland. You’re going to have to spend around $250 for a new one though. Try Ebay or Craigslist for something cheaper.
