I didn’t know Heathkit still did courses. I studied in junior college using their texts – 25 years ago – it was very clear and thorough for someone who was a newbie at the time. You would learn a lot of basic theory and could probably become a fair techie from them – but if you want to get really advanced or become an engineer you need to enroll in a degree program at a university.
