wow how about u forgot to mention that you must wait after playing even if you unplug the amp because tube amps can store enough electricity to kill you

i was mistaken, it was a 12AT7 then i went to music shop and they gave me a 12AX7 wich made it more tone full, more gain, less muddy. and just better in soo many ways

a JJ tube should do the trick, i just put one in my marshall valvestate and it helps the sound. especially if you’re looking to make your tone slightly darker

hello there, im ascing you this becous it seemes you know a tad bit about tubes, i ahev a randall RH150G3 head with one single 12ax7 tube in the preeamp but the gain is kinda crapping up on me, do you know of a good tube for high gain?

Not entirely true though. Many modern high gain amps also have rectifier tubes.

hey man … i have a marshall jcm 900 4100.. i have 5881′s in it i want more distortion and alot of low breakup … can u recommed any tubes ?? and do i have to worry about changing anything else ?? or do i just pull the tubes out put new ones in or does thta only work with certain tubes .. ??? please help thank you
