The FDR pedal has lots of drip - only nobody seems to like that aspect of them... I'm still going to check it out as I've not found a rugged pedal to stick into my reverb-less valve amps

Steve Trovato is such a great guy and an amazing guitarist, very humble and such a guitar God! He can switch from blues to rock and roll to rockabilly and country in less than a second !! By the way the pedal is great !!

^^ Yeah, I had to send back my FDR pedal. It was horrible for those drip/splash/sproings. They were random and crashing into my notes. It was like it came with its own drunk kicking your reverb tank. Anything above 1/4 level was unusable and therefore ineffective. I liked the tone okay and the trem was quite good, but on my unit at least, the reverb was a disaster. I hope they got it right on this model. I'd buy it right out, but I'm scared after my last Boss spring reverb experience.

Nice pedal, I think..... when more than one pedal is combined in a demo, it's hard to tell exactly which you are hearing.. IMHO, pedal demos should be made by playing one pedal into a clean amp so you can judge the sound of the single pedal. It would be OK to combine with other pedals as part of the demo, but it should always be made clear what you are listening to. Just my two cents. Great playing on this demo in any case.

I fully agree with you Tomm. We cannot appreciate the full features of the single pedal.
Give another try!

it's quite easy to tell the difference. the frv-1 is a reverb pedal so just listen to the difference in the reverb. the frv-1 does not interact or alter the tone of your guitar's sound or character. so don't listen to the equalization of the guitar or the over-drive reference of it.

i like how its a "fender certified" pedal but they couldn't use a real fender telecaster in the video
