Its pretty simple. If you have a Digital Set Top box use a HDMI cable to send the signal from the Box to the receiver (HDMI 1) And then connect another HDMI Cable to your Projectors input.
This will work perfect and provide the best picture, if both devices support HDMI. If not use the same theory and connect them via Component (Slot C ) , the only dis-advantage to this is you will sacrifice picture quality and you will have to run a separate audio connection. HDMI cables support audio and video.
