With both players playing blu-ray, you won't see any difference in image quality. The differences you'll have will be mostly functionality like disc load times, flexibility, ability to play different disc and audio formats, and possibly DVD upscaling ability.

Any blu-ray player, old and new, cheap and expensive alike, will play blu-rays with roughly the same image quality over HDMI, because that is their basic function in common. The extra money and newer technology go into improving other aspects of a players features and functionality.
